Laura Rose Dixon

Laura Rose Dixon age 83 of Sunnyside, WA passed away Monday, November16, 2015 in Sunnyside, WA. Laura was born April 1, 1932 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the daughter of George and Dorothy (Martin) Dallas. At an early age her family moved to Sunnyside where she received her early education. On April 17 1948 she married Kenneth L. Dixon in Sunnyside, WA. Laura worked for many years as a clerk and social worker for the Department of Social and Health Services. Laura was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Sunnyside and loved playing the organ.

Laura is survived by four children Jim Dixon and Swede Dixon both of Selah WA, Keith Dixon and Karen Dixon both of Sunnyside, WA, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Gary Dallas of Arlington, WA and Larry Dallas of Toppenish, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth L. Dixon, son Kenny Dixon and two babies Debra and Jay.

Viewing and Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 from 12:00pm to 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 8:30am to 10:00am at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA. Graveside Service will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Outlook, Cemetery in Outlook, WA.
