Mary F. Mora

Mary Felicia Mora 87, of Granger passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on August 11, 2016, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.  Mary was born on September 10, 1928 in Edinburg Texas to Marcelino and Herlinda Maltos.  On Aug. 13, 1952, Mary married the love of her life Albert A. Mora and soon after started their family. Mary was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Church of Granger where she loved to take her children and grandchildren as they were growing up.To all who knew her she was a caring and loving person.  She made a friend with everyone she met.  She loved sewing, cooking and canning for her family and volunteering at the Granger Food Bank for many years. She loved working in her flower garden and being with her Grandkids. She is survived by her six children and their spouses: Linda Brower (Kenny), Eddie (Cheryl),Clara Gamino (Richard), Joanne Estes (Marty), Marlene Rodriguez (Robert), Albert Jr., and fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandkids. She is also survived by her sister Rosie Wohlhuter, brothers; Jessie and Lorenzo Maltos.She was preceded in death by her husband Albert A. Mora, her parents Marcelino and Herlinda Maltos, brothers Eron and Joe Maltos and sister Matilda Gonzalez.We will miss mom/grandma dearly but we all find comfort knowing she is reunited with the love of her life Beto (Albert).  We would like to thank the staff at Crescent Health Care and Memorial Hospital for their care and kindness they gave our mom. Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA. with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
