Ramon Verduzco Jr

February 8, 1989 ~ February 21, 2015 (age 26) 26 Years Old

Ramon Verduzco Jr., 26, of Sunnyside passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015. He was born Feb. 8, 1989 in Yakima to Ramon Verduzco Sr. and Belinda Ann Marez. He attended Sunnyside schools. He enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, hanging out with friends and his cousins, Blanca, Veronica and Carlos Verduzco. He mostly enjoyed the time spent with his kids and fiancAC.e, Stacey, and most of all his mom. When he would sit down for a meal or even a snack, he always wanted someone to join him, whether it was his mom or sister, he enjoyed conversation at the table. Since he was a little boy he was always looking for something to fix, even if he had to break it first. As he got older his intelligence and curiosity grew with him. He was our handy man and head of the family. He worked in agriculture and on a dairy. He was so loved by his mother that not a day went by that they were not in contact. He had many friends and family members that loved and cared for him deeply. He is survived by his father, Ramon Verduzco, Sr. of Colima, Mexico; his mother, Belinda Ann Marez of Toppenish; his fiancAC.e, Stacey Gomez; three sons, Dominic, Dathaniel, Gianni; one daughter; Katalina Verduzco; three sisters, Celisia Verduzco and Celeste Calderon-Guzman of Toppenish and Monica Calderon of Yakima; paternal grandmother, Maria De La Cruz Mendoza-Mendoza of Colima, Mexico; maternal grandfather, Alfredo Marez of Monte Alto, Texas; maternal grandmother, Angie Robles, of Sunnyside; seven nieces and nephews, Sammy, Juju and Savina Torres, Dario and Nikka Verduzco, Esahel Marez, Arianna Guzman and Favian Diaz; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was especially close to his aunt, Debbie (Marez) Guerrero and her husband, Pedro, of Sunnyside. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Guadalupe Verduzco; and two cousins, Nick Marez and Adriana Riojas. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 2 to 8 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 2, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sunnyside with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
